Two strangers: Obama and
the truth
“[One]
thing I’ve never tried to do is --
and I think none of us can do in public office -- is that they’re victims, or they’re unpatriotic, or they don’t have a sense of responsibility." President Barack Obama 09/18/12
“Number
43 added four trillion dollars [to the national debt] by his lonesome…that’s irresponsible, that’s unpatriotic.” Candidate Barack Obama 2008
How much is the National Debt?
Obama claims he doesn’t remember, but he does remember its Bush’s fault.
It wasn’t the movie—it was a terrorist attack
The Administration has admitted that the assassination of Ambassador Chris
Stevens was a terrorist attack
and not a simple demonstration that turned into a riot. I guess they finally figured out people don’t
take RPGs to a demonstration.
More difficulty with the truth
“Woods and Doherty weren’t part of the detail, nor were they
personally responsible for the ambassador’s security, but they stepped into the breach when the attacks occurred
and their actions saved others lives
-- and they shouldn’t be lumped in with
the security detail,” one senior official said, speaking only on condition
of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak publicly about the State
Department.
The administration has not fully
described the two former Navy SEALs' activities, characterizing their work only vaguely as being security
related. “Our embassies could not carry on our critical work around the
world without the service and sacrifice of brave people like Tyrone and
Glen," Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said after the attacks.
As recently as Sunday, UN Ambassador
Susan Rice gave a similar
description. “Two of the four Americans
who were killed were there providing security. That was their function. And
indeed, there were many other colleagues who were doing the same with them,”
Rice told ABC's This Week program.
So we now know it was a terrorist attack
and the two heroes weren’t providing security for the Ambassador. This administration doesn’t do well with the
truth.
The Handwriting is on the wall
You would think someone at the Obama
campaign would have noticed this
before they started selling the Obama flag. Here
are a lot of other mistakes made by this team that go from juvenile (writing on
the hand) to creepy (reminds you of big brother). And I swear the picture that has the caption “son
of promise,” I read the second part originally as “child of hype.”
Redistribution: Not a
pretty history
The history of the 20th century is full of examples of
countries that set out to redistribute wealth and ended up redistributing poverty. The communist nations were a
classic example, but by no means the only example.
In theory, confiscating the wealth of the more successful
people ought to make the rest of the society more prosperous. But when the Soviet Union confiscated the
wealth of successful farmers, food
became scarce. As many people died of starvation under Stalin in the 1930s
as died in Hitler’s Holocaust in the 1940s.
How do you recover from a recovery?
How
do you recover from a recovery? Just
how bust the nation's "recovery" has been is painfully documented in
the latest news, just two months before the election. The Census Bureau
validated what middle-class Americans know all too well from their week to
week, month to month struggle to make ends meet. The typical family is back to where it was in 1995. The analysis of
annual data collected by the bureau indicates that median income in 2011 had fallen to $50,054, the fourth straight
year of decline in well-being, and that's adjusted for inflation. In political
terms, the Obama administration can truthfully say that the erosion had begun
before the president took office, while Mitt Romney can point out that the administration spent four years of
fumbling and quite failed to stop the rot.
The answer is vote for Romney.

It’s time to get rid of Holder for incompetence.
He was completely in the dark is not the sign of a leader, however
cashiering an assistant is the sign of an opportunistic coward.
Assassination in Libya
Where, out of
curiosity, is our Commander-in-Chief on all of this? We know he hasn't taken a single question from
the media about the attacks
Some
interesting findings coming out
right now.
Three
parents baby may be legalized and it’s not what you think
Members of the public are being asked whether families with a genetic risk of incurable conditions like muscular dystrophy should be allowed to use the DNA of a third party to create healthy children.
Although the resulting babies would inherit a small fraction of their DNA from the
donor and not their mother or father, the procedure would spare all future
generations from a host of rare and debilitating conditions. Sounds
good to me.
