SARAH PALIN IMAGINED GOD TALKING TO HER IN A DEEPLY TOUCHING EMAIL SHE WROTE TWO WEEKS BEFORE HER FIFTH CHILD, TRIG, WAS BORN WITH DOWN'S SYNDROME, it was revealed today.
The poignant message to family and friends, included in 25,000 pages of her private emails made public on Friday, may alter the way the former Governor of Alaska is viewed by the American public.
In April 2008, two weeks before Trig was born with Down's Syndrome, Mrs Palin sent the email to her friends and family from her official government account.
In the touching message, Mrs Palin writes from the voice of God, as 'Trig's creator, your heavenly father'.

Mr. Milbanks is a JourNOlist, you see. His job is not to tell the truth. Nope. It's to run coverups for the Demagogues and to destroy as many Republicans as possible. It’s amazing how many stories there are on Sarah Palin. The MSM seems intent on trying to destroy this woman and as the article here mentions, she seems to be tying them up in knots as they move against her. 25000 emails and what we find appear to be a real, caring human being. Now that is not the story they were looking for.

Actually this makes some sense, but it seems to neutralize one of the charges against bloggers, that is, that they are amateurs and news gathering requires professionals. I somehow think the MSM will end up regretting this.
Lady Thatcher: Did she dis Sarah Palin?
According to The Guardian, Lady Thatcher turned down a request for a visit by Sarah Palin referring to Governor Palin as being “nuts.” Now does this sound like Lady Thatcher or does this sound like a left wing rag trying to tear her down?

THE GUARDIAN, OF COURSE, IS NOT A NEWSPAPER AT ALL SYMPATHETIC TO LADY THATCHER (OR TO MRS. PALIN), SO REPORTS ON THIS TOPIC, FROM THAT SOURCE, HAVE MINIMAL CREDIBILITY. If nothing else, would Lady Thatcher have ever described a prominent US conservative politician as ‘nuts’, or approved an ‘ally’ who used the description? I would hope that question answers itself.
Of course, SADLY, LADY THATCHER’S HEALTH IS NOT GOOD THESE DAYS AND SUCH CONSIDERATIONS NATURALLY DOMINATE HER SCHEDULE. That much is true. Someone once said that if you plaster together the true and the false you thereby manufacture the plausible, BUT IN THIS CASE I DON’T THINK EVEN THAT MUCH HAS BEEN ACHIEVED BY THE GUARDIAN.
On the ‘Malvinas’, the OAS never learns and the State Department endlessly seeks to curry favour with it for the sake of the quiet life. The question is a closed one as far as we in Britain are concerned, as it is in the Falklands themselves where opinion is undivided.

Unfortunately, because there is so much intra-circle competition among conservatives, new ideas are sometimes discouraged or outright ignored. That is not necessary here. Since SARAH PALIN HAS DONE FAR MORE THAN ANY OTHER KNOWN INDIVIDUAL TO DEVELOP AND DISPLAY THE MEANNESS AND SOMETIMES OUTRIGHT HATRED BY THE LEFT FOR PEOPLE WHO DISAGREE WITH THEM, it is fitting that she be given the entire credit for the new system of political commentary called Alinsky Alerts.
RULE NUMBER FIVE OF SAUL ALINSKY'S RULES FOR RADICALS CALLS FOR RIDICULE OF THE OPPOSITION WHENEVER THERE IS OPPORTUNITY. Alinsky dedicated his book to Lucifer and therein opened the gate to misconduct, just so long as it serves the cause. It seems the more vitriolic the attack the better. And truth, accuracy, fairness, all those things are simply a crutch for weak people and have no play in the radicals' game unless used in some kind of guise…..

Boehner draws laugh
U.S. House Speaker John Boehner drew laughs from an audience at Ohio State University with a joke about the name of a colleague involved in a scandal over lewd photos.
Boehner said today during a commencement speech at Ohio Stadium that his own last name has been pronounced to rhyme with the words honor and leaner and even "boner."
Then he said:"THANK GOD IT'S NOT WEINER."
