Let's see how that would work if Democrat constituents asked Mr. Biden for a political favor.

A feminist asks Biden to make sure abortions are not restricted in any way. Biden responds, "Don't be a smartass."

A senior citizen on Medicare asks Biden to repeal the cuts in Medicare that this administration is using to pay for Obamacare. Biden responds, "Don't be a smartass."

A Union leader at SEIU asks Biden to support "the employee free choice act." Biden responds, "Don't be a smartass."

A member of the Trial Lawyer Association, tells Biden, don't allow tort reform to muck up healthcare reform. Biden responds, "Don't be a smartass."

An environmentalist asks VP Biden to stop all oil drilling anywhere in America and to support renewable power. Biden responds,"Don't be a smartass."

In reality you can't see VP Biden saying this to any of these key Democrat constituents. Of course it is only the Republicans who have "special interest" groups at least according to the MSM and the Democrat Party, to which I would hope Biden responds,"Don't be a smartass."
